 Guest Speaker, Doug Baumoel, MBA, Founder, Continuity Family Business Consulting

Doug Baumoel brings extensive experience in family business operations and executive management to his work with Continuity clients. He served as a second-generation leader of his own family’s business, as chief executive in non-family enterprises, and in management of an outside family business. He has launched businesses in both the US and Europe, where he resided for several years establishing the European offices of his own family’s business.

Doug has addressed a wide range of business challenges as a consultant to enterprising families, and writes and speaks widely on many family business topics including managing conflict, entrepreneurial leadership, governance, and succession planning.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and certificates in both family business advising and family wealth advising from the Family Firm Institute. He served as president of the New England Chapter of the Family Firm Institute from 2008 – 2011.
